For this transformation we were asked to do everything except the shower, tub and flooring. The client had a fixed budget and wanted the bathroom to feel completely different, but still stay within their budget. We were able to come in under budget but still provide our clients with a bathroom that feels new to them. All existing items that were not removed, were cleaned in order to give them a fresh and new feeling. We removed the existing vanity, toilet and the items that were going to be refinished and reused. A custom single height vanity was built to replace the old multilevel one and granite was installed to replace the old counters. The original mirror was cleaned up and mounted with a new wooden frame. Lighting was changed from a single fixture to dual fixtures centered on each sink and a heat lamp was added in the ceiling. A new more modern and efficient chair height toilet was installed to replace the original one. Existing cabinets in the toilet room as well as the medicine cabinet were refinished to match the new vanity. All new paint was applied to the walls and trim to give the bathroom a more spa like feeling. The design was finished off with new decorative items and window treatments.
